AN IDEA WHOSE TIME HAS COME!

If we read the history of human endeavor, any radical change that man has attempted, only succeeds if it based on an IDEA whose time has come.

When Martin Luther King made his famous 'I have a dream' speech, he knew that the time was ripe for the southern states of America to discard their segregation policies.

Nearer home, in spite of apartheid diehards claiming that they could not see a black South African president for a hundred years, in 1990 the visionary de Clerk dismantled the evil system by his traditional opening speech to the South African parliament simply because it was an IDEA whose time had come!!

Today Fikirini Jacobs Cde II is an Idea whose time has come . Academically, he's both brilliant and eccentric- a combination which made him eminently suitable to hold a University chair-Pwani University Students Association not forgetting being the Maasai Mara University Students Organization.

He is a man of the people. His convincing arguments,winsome personality, mastery of facts and his command of language- interspersed with wit and humour has made him a political enigma in Kilifi and Coast at large.

Fikirini Jacobs went to the books of history of campus politics as the only student to be suspended from two public universities in a span of 4 years after leading mothers of all peace-picketing for injustices done to students.

He retired successfully as the Kenya University Students Organization President this year.

He is aspiring to be Kilifi County Senator come 2022.

Indeed it is his time.
